The system monitors flame status, internal temperatures and voltages, and other safety parameters. If the flame goes out the system will turn off all gas flow, and then safely restart. The insert comes complete with a 304 stainless steel square drop-in bowl style pan and unique penta burner. The burner features a hub that is raised above the burner to reduce the chances of water seeping into your gas line, and boasts up to 250k BTUs of heat dependent on burner size and fuel line setup. The pan offers weep holes for drainage, so water does not collect on the pan, and is designed to hold fire glass or any other media of your choice. The lip of the pan also makes installation a breeze, just connect this kit to your fuel source and then rest the unit on a ledge within your fire feature.
