BBQ Side Dish


  • 4 red potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup butter, cubed
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Step 1

Preheat your grill for medium heat.

Step 2

Layer the thinly sliced potatoes on a piece of aluminum foil. Add the chopped onion, garlic, fresh basil, and cubed butter on top of the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3

Fold the aluminum foil around the potatoes and other ingredients to create a packet.

Step 4

 Place the potato packet on the heated grill over indirect heat.

Step 5

Cook for approximately 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Remember to turn the packet over halfway through the cooking process.
