These single-sided models conceal a gas burner beneath a large bed of clear-frost crushed glass. While the flames dance atop the bed of glass, the lighting system illuminates the glass from beneath. A glass deflector shield helps protect the flame from wind. (Optional taller deflectors are available for fireplaces installed in windier locations.)
A tilt-up cover conceals all controls – including push-button ignition and flame control knob with Hi, Medium and Low – plus intuitive buttons to control the changing pattern and color of the LED lighting. The buttons let you select from seven LED colors – Deep Blue, Royal Violet, Cardinal Red, Sea Green, Forest Green, Tranquil Blue, and White – and vary the intensity. Two “program” settings cycle through the colors automatically – either quickly or gradually.
Clear Frost Decorative Crushed Glass is required. Decorative Glass Droplets can not be substituted for crushed glass. One bag of crushed glass covers 1 sq. ft. Enough crushed glass to cover 8 sq. ft. is required. Glass colors may be mixed. The maximum amount of Crushed Decorative Glass allowed is 8 bags. Transparent and Translucent crushed glass will allow LEDs to shine through.

I have been looking at the Solo Stove pits for a while now. My son in law has a Solo Stove Bonfire. They really do cut down on the smoke. I bought the Yukon because I wanted a little larger fire. Communication is key after a couple chats with BBQGenerals all challenges were worked out. Received our product on time and it was complete that we ordered. Easily assembled. The only challenge we have is the extended shelf doesn’t retract without manipulation or climbing under to get it back to put the cover on correctly. Other than that we are completely happy with the product.

Start up of the smoker included a priming sequence that worked as defined in the manual. The pellet grill fired as intended and heated to the initial temp of 150F. The temp was raised to 350F, the new smoker was seasoned for 1hr.
Connection of the grill to the home WIFI using the GMG Prime app. The app is intuitive and a nice feature of the grill
Cooked a 3lb pork loin with hardwood Apple pellets, excellent results for first time use.

This grill is great. Its actually a significant upgrade from a Weber or Napoleon. I was moving from a Napoleon Prestige and much prefer this grill. It burns hotter, has better control, easier to separate zones, etc. and is just a sexy beast :)
Response from BBQ generals was great. Shipping was a bit slower than promised, but it arrived well and they did communicate. Would definitely buy from them again, just factor in a few extra days than they promise.
