We warranty each and every Solo Stove product to be free of manufacturing defects, and we will replace with a new product, at our option, any genuine Solo Stove product sold by an authorized retailer that is deemed defective. Solo Stove does not warranty its products against normal wear or misuse. If your Solo Stove product was damaged due to misuse, our customer service team can analyze the damage and may be able to suggest options for the customer to remedy. If your Solo Stove product is unable to be repaired after misuse, we will extend a one-time courtesy offer, allowing you the option to purchase a new Solo Stove product for 50% off of our MSRP price listed on the website, excluding web specials. Warranty claims are not applicable for orders not placed on solostove.com, au.solostove.com, ca.solostove.com or eu.solostove.com. Warranty claims for these can be submitted via their respective websites.
Can I use pellets and natural wood fuel simultaneously?Yes, you can. Just make sure that you are using the pellet adapter any time you are using pellets. |

Can I cook over pellets?Before using pellets as fuel to cook over, be sure that they are labeled food-safe. Typically, hardwood pellets will be safe for cooking, while softwood pellets are not recommended to use for cooking. |
Will I get a secondary burn with pellets?Yes, you will! When using the pellet adapter in your camp stove you can expect to get a beautiful secondary burn within 5-10 minutes of lighting your starters (depending on how many starters you use.) |
My fire blew out and is super smoky, how can I fix this?Pellet fires are more prone to being blown out from gusts of wind. This is rare but can occur. If this happens while your fire is lit, there will immediately be an intense cloud of smoke. If this happens to you, take a long-stem lighter, light it, then place it near the secondary burn holes near the top of your camp stove, and let the smoke ignite. This will clear out the smoke and reignite your fire quickly. |
How do I add pellets to my fire?It’s important not to add too many pellets at a time, as this could suffocate your flame and cause your fire to smoke and be extinguished. Use a small scoop to add pellets, sprinkling them evenly across the opening of the camp stove.Be sure to add pellets while there is still a secondary flame. Adding pellets after the fire has gotten too low will cause the newly added pellets to smoke and not light correctly. |
What kinds of pellets can I use with my fire pit pellet adapter?You can burn virtually any type of wood pellet in your Solo Stove Camp Stove with Pellet Adapter. Each type of pellet will provide a different experience.Heating pellets are designed to be used as fuel only, and should not be cooked over. They are typically made of softwoods and will burn at a slightly quicker pace. Hardwood pellets (like Solo Stove’s Premium Wood Fuel Pellets) are a great option and will burn beautifully. If you want to roast s’mores or hot dogs, make sure that your hardwood pellets are food-safe. Pellet grill smoking pellets can also be used to burn with the Pellet Adapter. Softwood Pellets are typically made of a variety of softwoods such as pine and/or fir. These pellets can contain binders and additives, but can still be burned efficiently with the Pellet Adapter. These pellets should not be used for any cooking. |

Typically, items will arrive 2-5 business days after being shipped. Smaller items are shipped with UPS or FedEx, however, larger items and orders are shipped through freight, which is a more complex process compared to shipping small parcels. It's crucial to familiarize yourself with the requirements before the delivery day to ensure a smooth shipping process.
Pre-Delivery
Typically, shipments arrive without issue, but if you do encounter a problem, please carefully inspect your packages following the guidelines. If there is any damage, photos must be sent to support@bbqgenerals.com within 48 hours of receipt to initiate a return or exchange.
Upon Delivery:
Upon arrival, verify that the number of pallets/pieces listed on the delivery receipt matches the expected amount. If there are any missing pieces, make a note of it on the receipt before signing, for example, "Received 3 out of 4 pieces." Contact us at (800)-375-3243 immediately if any pieces are missing. We will work with the delivery company to find the missing items or arrange for replacements.
As soon as the shipment arrives, inspect it for any visible damages such as crushed box corners, holes, or broken pallets, which can indicate internal damage.
After accepting the shipment, examine the package for any concealed damage. You have 48 hours to send us photos of the damage at support@bbqgenerals.com. You can also report any concealed damage by calling (800)-375-3243, and we will guide you through the Damaged delivery process.
