When selecting a vented gas log set, presentation matters just as much as performance. You want a system that delivers a beautiful flame, fits your fireplace properly, and maintains a clean, uncluttered appearance without exposed components.

That’s why the G46 Burner System is our preferred choice for Real Fyre vented log sets from 18" to 30". Often referred to as the “space saver,” the G46 features a trapezoidal design that mirrors the shape of most fireplaces, ensuring an excellent fit and natural flame pattern.

Unlike the G45, the G46 conceals its controls discreetly at the rear of the burner, delivering the cleanest possible presentation. And most importantly, it produces a strong, consistent burn that enhances realism and overall fire performance.

Control Valve Options

Choose the control option that best suits your lifestyle and fireplace setup:

1. Manual Control (Standing Pilot)

Includes a standing pilot and an on-burner control knob for simple, manual flame adjustment.

2. On/Off Remote Control (Standing Pilot)

Features a millivolt control valve with an On/Off remote. Can also be paired with a wall switch for added convenience.

3. Variable Flame Remote Control (Standing Pilot)

Provides all the features of the standard remote option, with the added ability to precisely adjust flame height from low to high and anywhere in between.

4. Electronic Ignition (Battery-Powered) with On/Off Remote

Eliminates the standing pilot entirely. A battery-powered spark ignition lights the system when activated and shuts off when turned off. Controlled via a standard On/Off remote. This option uses less gas but requires a slightly longer warm-up time compared to standing pilot systems.

Lava Rock - We strongly recommend purchasing Lava Fyre Coals and/or Lava Fyre Granules (we just refer to them collectively as lava rock) to complete the look of your vented log set. 

Putting lava rock around your log set enhances the look of the glowing embers. The lava rock blends in nicely with the glowing embers giving off a realistic ash pan look. Without the lava rock, the embers look more like cotton balls sitting on a bare brick floor.

Lava Fyre Coals are bigger, more like rocks, and the granules are about the size of pebbles. Whether you prefer just coals, just granules or a mix of both, we highly recommend adding lava rock to your order. 

10 pounds of Lava Rock generously covers fireplace with 36" opening.

Wood Chunk Decorative Cover - if you opt for a remote control operated log set, we always recommend the wood chunk cover to "cover up" the receiver box & hide the cords.

Pre-Delivery Inspection

While most deliveries arrive without issue, it’s important to inspect your shipment carefully.

Upon Delivery

Before signing the delivery receipt:

• Verify the number of pallets or boxes
• If anything is missing, note it clearly on the receipt
