The G46 Burner System

In our opinion - if you are going for a vented gas log set - presentation is the most important factor. You want a log set that:

The G46 is a highly reliable and efficient system that we call the "space saver". It has a trapezoidal shape that mimics the shape of most firplaces and provides a great fit. The G46 also provides the cleanest presentation as the controls are hidden in the back of the burner - unlike on the G45. And last but certainly not least, the G46 has a great burn!

Control Valve Options

1. Manual (No Remote) - Standing Pilot

Manual control models has a standing pilot & a knob on the burner that allows you to turn the fire up or down. 

2. On/Off Remote Control - Standing Pilot

Remote ready models have a standing pilot and come with a millivolt control valve + On/Off Remote Control. This control option may also be used with light switch. 

3. Variable Flame Remote Control - Standing Pilot 

The variable flame remote models have all the features of the standard remote model but with the added ability to control the height of your flames from high to low and anywhere in between. 

4. Electronic Ignition - Battery Driven - with On/Off Remote

This control option does not have a standing pilot. Instead, the battery operated spark ignition activates when the log set is turned on & extinguishes the pilot when turned off. Everything is controlled via standard On/Off Remote. This control option takes longer to warm up than standing pilot options.

Lava Rock - We strongly recommend purchasing Lava Fyre Coals and/or Lava Fyre Granules (we just refer to them collectively as lava rock) to complete the look of your vented log set. 

Putting lava rock around your log set enhances the look of the glowing embers. The lava rock blends in nicely with the glowing embers giving off a realistic ash pan look. Without the lava rock, the embers look more like cotton balls sitting on a bare brick floor.

Lava Fyre Coals are bigger, more like rocks, and the granules are about the size of pebbles. Whether you prefer just coals, just granules or a mix of both, we highly recommend adding lava rock to your order.

Wood Chunk Decorative Cover - if you opt for a remote control operated log set, we always recommend the wood chunk cover to "cover up" the receiver box & hide the cords.

Typically, items will arrive 2-5 business days after being shipped. Smaller items are shipped with UPS or FedEx, however, larger items and orders are shipped through freight, which is a more complex process compared to shipping small parcels. It's crucial to familiarize yourself with the requirements before the delivery day to ensure a smooth shipping process.

• Most freight items are shipped on a pallet
• Some delivery companies will call to schedule a specific delivery time, while others will drop off the shipment at the nearest accessible location near your home, Curbside, or deliver it as close to a garage door as possible.

Pre-Delivery

Typically, shipments arrive without issue, but if you do encounter a problem, please carefully inspect your packages following the guidelines. If there is any damage, photos must be sent to support@bbqgenerals.com within 48 hours of receipt to initiate a return or exchange.

Upon Delivery:

Upon arrival, verify that the number of pallets/pieces listed on the delivery receipt matches the expected amount. If there are any missing pieces, make a note of it on the receipt before signing, for example, "Received 3 out of 4 pieces." Contact us at (800)-375-3243 immediately if any pieces are missing. We will work with the delivery company to find the missing items or arrange for replacements.

As soon as the shipment arrives, inspect it for any visible damages such as crushed box corners, holes, or broken pallets, which can indicate internal damage. 

After accepting the shipment, examine the package for any concealed damage. You have 48 hours to send us photos of the damage at support@bbqgenerals.com. You can also report any concealed damage by calling (800)-375-3243, and we will guide you through the Damaged delivery process.

Orders less than $99 ship at a low, fixed price and the shipping fee remains the same even if the order amount increases.

Once we receive an order, we send the confirmation to the Brand the product is associated with. Please allow 24-72 Hours to get confirmation to Ship the item out of the warehouse. Once out for delivery it should arrive within 7-14 Bus Days depending on where the address is located.
