The Real Fyre Charred American Oak for the G31 Burner System
A standout favorite from the wildly popular Charred Series, the Charred American Oak Gas Log Set has been expertly redesigned to pair perfectly with the G31 Burner System. This combination delivers tall, full-bodied flames with impressive realism—while using fewer BTUs than many traditional vented burners for improved efficiency without sacrificing performance.
Crafted using molds made from real American oak samples, each log features high-definition bark textures and rich, natural coloration that replicate the look of deeply charred hardwood. Built for durability and long-term use, these logs provide radiant heat during operation and continue to release warmth even after the fire is turned off.
All Real Fyre log sets are engineered to last and proudly backed by RH Peterson’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, giving you confidence in both craftsmanship and performance.

The G31 Burner System – High Flames, Smart Efficiency
The G31 Burner System features an innovative three-tiered burner design that produces tall, full-bodied flames while consuming fewer BTUs than other vented burner systems. Its compact footprint makes it easier to fully and naturally fill your fireplace opening, creating a balanced and visually appealing fire display.
An added highlight of the G31 is its reflective front panel, which enhances ember bed reflection and creates a deeper, richer glow for added realism and visual depth.
Control Valve Options
Choose the control option that best fits your lifestyle and installation needs:
1. Standing Pilot – Manual Control (No Remote)
Includes a standing pilot and a control knob on the burner, allowing you to manually adjust flame height.
2. Standing Pilot – Variable Flame Remote Control
Offers all the functionality of a standard remote system, with the added ability to adjust flame height from low to high and anywhere in between.
3. Electronic Ignition (Battery-Powered) with On/Off Remote
Eliminates the standing pilot entirely. A battery-powered spark ignition lights the system when activated and shuts off when turned off. Controlled via a standard On/Off remote. This option uses less gas but requires a slightly longer warm-up time compared to standing pilot systems.
4. Electronic Ignition (Battery-Powered) with Variable Flame Remote
Provides all the benefits of electronic ignition with the added flexibility of precise flame height adjustment from high to low and anywhere in between—all controlled via remote.

Recommended Accessories (Optional - Not Required)

Lava Rock - We strongly recommend purchasing Lava Fyre Coals and/or Lava Fyre Granules (we just refer to them collectively as lava rock) to complete the look of your vented log set.
Putting lava rock around your log set enhances the look of the glowing embers. The lava rock blends in nicely with the glowing embers giving off a realistic ash pan look. Without the lava rock, the embers look more like cotton balls sitting on a bare brick floor.
Lava Fyre Coals are bigger, more like rocks, and the granules are about the size of pebbles. Whether you prefer just coals, just granules or a mix of both, we highly recommend adding lava rock to your order.
10 pounds of Lava Rock generously covers fireplace with 36" opening.
Wood Chunk Decorative Cover - if you opt for a remote control operated log set, we always recommend the wood chunk cover to "cover up" the receiver box & hide the cords.
