Ducted Heat Management (DHM) is a system for managing the heat produced by the appliance at and around the fireplace. The purpose of DHM is to move the heat away from the fireplace to allow it to circulate more effectively with the living space. 

Benefits: 

• Heat is circulated more consistently throughout the living space increasing comfort in front of the fireplace.*
• Increasing "real world" efficiency as heat is moved into the room rather than retained inside the enclosure. 
• Complete flexibility in selection of finishing materials
• Ability to place a TV, sound bar or artwork above the fireplace**

Installation Options

1. FRONT DISCHARGE 

Heat is moved up and out a single air outlet located at the top of the enclosure (above the TV or artwork). You can purchase a vent grill or sleeve to provide a clean finished look for the air outlet opening. 

2. SIDE DISCHARGE 

Heat is moved up and out the sides of the enclosure (above the TV or artwork). You can purchase vent grills (2) or sleeves (2) to provide a clean finished look for the air outlet openings.

*In most common installation configurations, some specific installations require special provisions. See “minimum clearance to combustible enclosures” section for details. Ensure to strictly adhere to 
instructions.

**Always check appliance manufacturers’ recommendations to confirm suitability and any special environmental limitations. For valuable or antique items, always refer to expert preservation instructions as some items require specifically controlled temperature and/or humidity.

Freight Delivery Overview

Large items and outdoor kitchen components typically ship via freight on a pallet.

• Freight deliveries are typically curbside
• Some carriers will call to schedule delivery; others may deliver to the nearest accessible location
• Freight shipments are usually delivered as close to a garage or driveway as possible

We strongly recommend reviewing freight delivery expectations before your delivery date to ensure a smooth experience.

Pre-Delivery Inspection

While most deliveries arrive without issue, it’s important to inspect your shipment carefully.

• Inspect all packages upon arrival
• If damage is visible, take photos immediately
• You must reach out to us within 48 hours After Delivery and send Photos must be submitted to:

This allows us to quickly initiate a replacement or claim if needed.

Upon Delivery

Before signing the delivery receipt:

• Verify the number of pallets or boxes
• If anything is missing, note it clearly on the receipt
  (Example: “Received 3 of 4 pieces”)
