Some delivery companies will call to schedule a specific delivery time, while others will drop off the shipment at the nearest accessible location near your home, Curbside, or deliver it as close to a garage door as possible.
Pre-Delivery
Typically, shipments arrive without issue, but if you do encounter a problem, please carefully inspect your packages following the guidelines. If there is any damage, photos must be sent to support@bbqgenerals.com within 48 hours of receipt to initiate a return or exchange.
Upon Delivery:
Upon arrival, verify that the number of pallets/pieces listed on the delivery receipt matches the expected amount. If there are any missing pieces, make a note of it on the receipt before signing, for example, "Received 3 out of 4 pieces." Contact us at (800)-375-3243 immediately if any pieces are missing. We will work with the delivery company to find the missing items or arrange for replacements.
As soon as the shipment arrives, inspect it for any visible damages such as crushed box corners, holes, or broken pallets, which can indicate internal damage.
After accepting the shipment, examine the package for any concealed damage. You have 48 hours to send us photos of the damage at support@bbqgenerals.com. You can also report any concealed damage by calling (800)-375-3243, and we will guide you through the Damaged delivery process.

Performs as advertised in all respects. Replaced a 20 year old Genesis, so I took a leap of faith switching, but so far, very happy I did. I am a newcomer to IR, so I can’t compare the side burner performance to other grills, but it is a great addition if you have never had IR. (For the “anti-grill marks” crowd, I turn a few Grill Grates upside down, which fit perfectly on the side burner, and it produces even caramelization in less than 2 minutes per side).

I ordered a propane fireplace from BBQ Generals for our new home and had a very frustrating experience. I spoke with Amanda, who helped me place the order. She clearly stated that the firebox and the cabinet were sold separately—which I appreciated—but when I asked if I needed anything else to complete the setup, she only recommended adding a blower to circulate the heat.
What she failed to mention was that the fireplace doesn't come with an igniter or logs! Now I have a black, empty fireplace that can't even be used. There's no way to ignite the propane, and no logs inside to make it functional or even look complete.
This was a major oversight on their part, and now I’m stuck with an unusable unit unless I spend more time and money buying essential components that should’ve been disclosed up front. Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend ordering from BBQ Generals unless you already know exactly what you need—because they clearly don’t tell you.
